/Site-specific installation exhibited at Jancar Jones Gallery
/Throughout the office space of the gallery, masculine and feminine objects were cataloged. A select couple has been displaced based on form, function, and proportion to reveal and dislodge commonalities. The site-specific installation responds to perceptual, spatial, and social disruptions found within existing site conditions. Drawing upon the use of my maternal language (French) and familiar objects, altered pairings re-present physical prescriptions and gender normatives by reorganizing the unnoticed and exposing distorted relationships resulting in a shifted legibility.
