/Site-Specific Installation at PLAySPACE Gallery, Collection II, pencil drawing on painted wall
/Through an architectural inventory of the gallery and its organizational components, As-Builts reconsiders the way in which one reads space. Beginning with the architectural convention of the as-built, illustrations and scaled drawings of the gallery are prepared. Elevations, square footage, project north/true north are cataloged and drawn directly onto its walls, creating a heightened awareness of the overlooked actual space. The site-specific installation proposes perceptual and spatial change between the dialogue of our everyday spaces and the field of architecture.
